Equality

In the Equality Movement dancers begin to develop a reflective awareness of thier surroundings

and how they can make a difference through their contributions as individuals, and their art.

Through discussion, worksheets, videos and more dancers are encouranged to engage

not only in the studio, but actively in their daily lives. They are asked open ended questions in hopes that they will leave the studio with a better understanding and sense of what is happening in

the world around them.

In addition to building awareness, dancers are taught choreographed movement that demonstrates the power of equality. They lead by example when the movement is turned into a short documentary film,

to be shared on the world wide web.
