WHAT'S THE POINT OF BULLYING?
To feel better? Listen, you'll never feel any better if the only thing you know how to do is make people suffer.
Here's the thing. I just watched this amazing documentary called 'The Bully Project' (click here to see the trailer). Until now I haven't come across a piece that so clearly demonstrates the real problem of bullying from many different points of view. It follows families of children who were bullied to the point of suicide and who are now making it their life mission to challenge the school districts, councelors, and bulliers about the problem at hand. The documentary follows students who are being bullied, yet think it's 'normal' and that these kids are their friends because they don't know any differently. The documentary also follows the administration in their efforts (or lack thereof) to right the wrongs of bulling in their school systems.
The movie is incredibly touching and highly recommended. I would suggest that children under the age of 15 watch this movie with parental guidance, although I wish that it was a movie everyone would see for we can only begin to make a difference if we begin to have a conversation.
Furthermore, 'The Bully Project' is doing some really cool things to help spread awareness about the rising problem of bullying in our country. If you're online check out:

Take it one step further and help take action against bullying in our community. 'The Bully Project' has set up movements all over the country to raise awareness and harness the problem of bullying one community at a time.
